Check Out a Farmer’s Market
“Local farmers markets often have food, wine, music and plenty of room for dogs to roam,” Rose says.
Just make sure you’re familiar with the market you’re visiting and confirm that it is indeed dog friendly, she says.
No matter what you do, odds are that your dog will make a fine wingman. And if he jumps on your date or that flatulence problem does act up? That may actually be a good thing, Rose suggests.
“If there are some dog bloopers on your date this is a great way to find out if your date has a sense of humor and can laugh it off,” she says. “If your date easily gets angry it could be a sign of future behavior.”
Likewise, your date may be eying how you react with a dog mishap, so don’t stress over it, Rose says.
“Hopefully it sparks a good laugh and creates a fun memory between you and your date,” she adds.
